Art Competition
Entries can be submitted online or placed in the box at the Portarlington Neighbourhood House (during office hours),
together with a fully completed and signed entry form and fee.
All artworks are deemed for sale, unless stated otherwise (NFS)
Accepted entries are subject to the competition Rules and Regulations as well as additional conditions, detailed below.
No responsibility will be taken for work not collected

Rules of Entry
1. Use official entry form (or photocopy) only.
2. Each artist may enter up to two artworks.
3. Artworks, including frames, must not exceed 40 x 30cm in size.
4. This year’s artworks must reflect the theme: PRODUCE.
5. All artwork must be wired (cord) ready to hang (except primary section where Blu-tack may be used for paper entries).
6. On the back of each painting must be the artist’s name/section/title/asking price or NFS.
7. While artwork is handled with care, no liability will be accepted for loss or damage of artwork. It is the responsibility of the artist to insure work.
8. The Committee reserves the right to reproduce artwork in media advertising, and also to reject work not deemed suitable for a family show.
9. A judge, chosen by the Committee, will select a winner for each section. The judge’s decision is final.
10. Votes for the ‘People’s Choice Award’ will be collected and collated on the day of the show.
11. All artworks must be delivered to the Portarlington Tennis Clubrooms between 2pm and 3pm on 8 March and collected between 3pm and 4pm on 9 March

People’s Choice
Visitors to the Bellarine Agricultural Show Art Exhibition will have an opportunity to vote for their favourite Art piece.
Votes will be counted after 2.00pm and the prize awarded to the winner at 3.00pm on Show Day.
